Your Journey to Flight Begins Here
Meet The AeroLuxe Aviation Team
At Aeroluxe Aviation, we believe that any organization is only as good as the people who run it. That’s why we can confidently say that our team stands among the most experienced and dedicated professionals in aviation. With over 100,000 hours of experience across our staff, Aeroluxe is owned and operated by some of the highest-ranked professionals the industry has to offer.
What sets us apart is the tribal knowledge we bring to the table. In aviation, experience is everything. It’s the wisdom passed down through years of hard-earned lessons. It’s the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently, often before they even arise. At Aeroluxe, you’ll find yourself surrounded by over 35 employees whose depth of knowledge is not just theoretical, but born from the real, hands-on experience that only time in the cockpit can provide.
When considering flight training, we encourage you to ask important questions that help you understand the true nature of the business.

Devitt Conboy
Owner, Chief Flight Instructor
- Airline Transport Pilot (MEL, SEL) – CE-525S
- Commercial Pilot – Multi Engine Sea, Glider
- Gold Seal Flight Instructor – CFI, CFII, MEI, Tailwheel instructor, Aerobatic Instructor
Dev Conboy founded Aeroluxe Aviation’s fixed wing school with one mission: to transform the way pilots are trained. His first flight in 2013 sparked a passion that quickly grew into a full commitment to aviation. But when he pursued flight training seriously, he encountered what too many aspiring pilots still face: disconnected programs, instructors more interested in building hours or collecting paychecks than mentoring, and a system designed to check boxes rather than create truly competent aviators. Determined to change that, he immersed himself fully—training at seven different schools and advancing from Private Pilot to Certified Flight Instructor in just six months.
Since then, Dev has become one of Nashville’s most accomplished instructors, logging over 2,000 hours of dual given and serving as a recommending instructor for hundreds of successful checkrides in his first three years alone. Under his leadership, Aeroluxe has grown into the region’s leading flight school, certifying more pilots annually than any other operation and offering programs unmatched in both quality and results.
What sets Dev apart is his belief that mastery—not minimums—should define a pilot’s journey. His programs combine full-immersion accelerated training with advanced skill development in aerobatics, upset prevention and recovery (UPRT), and access to one of the most diverse fleets in the Southeast. Beyond instruction, he brings extensive experience in aircraft acquisition and management, having facilitated over 20 aircraft transactions in the past year to expand Aeroluxe’s capabilities and opportunities for its students.
For Dev, the goal is simple but uncompromising: to build pilots who are not only safe and proficient, but who leave training with the confidence, skill, and passion to succeed in any corner of aviation.
